01 / About Destiny
I am a proud Compton native with a background spanning anthropology, operations, executive support, community outreach, and archival research, alongside graduate study in nonprofit leadership.
Growing up in a marginalized community showed me how essential access to resources and support can be. My work is grounded in the belief that communities become stronger when people feel seen, supported, and connected to meaningful resources.
I am building a career centered on women, maternal well-being, mental health, self-love, holistic care, and community empowerment—and, over time, I hope to carry that work into an organization of my own. Today, my priority is contributing my values and professional experience to a mission-aligned team.
Becoming a mother and experiencing the care and community provided by midwives, doulas, and a birthing center showed me how meaningful it is to feel seen, heard, and supported. I hope to help create that experience for other women.

03 / Community & Research Work
Selected work spanning women’s wellness, respectful community outreach, and the preservation of historically overlooked voices.
Jaguar Land Rover Cerritos
I introduced an early idea for a client wellness club and later collaborated with management and marketing to help bring a women’s wellness event to life. The event was a shared effort, with each contributor using their resources to build a thoughtful guest experience.

June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives · Oral-history interview: Lee Lynch
In the course Queer Studies: LA in Transit, I conducted an oral-history interview with lesbian author Lee Lynch and created research and documentary work focused on lesbian literature, identity, advocacy, and community history.
Following the interview, I independently created an editorial tribute as a personal gift, combining writing, research, and visual storytelling to honor Lee Lynch’s voice and help keep community history visible.
Independent writing and editorial work · Created following the oral-history interview.

05 / Future Vision
The future I’m working toward
My long-term goal is to become an Executive Director and eventually establish a nonprofit serving women and marginalized communities. I envision an organization that connects care, knowledge, encouragement, and practical resources so more people can move through life feeling supported rather than alone.
Today, I am seeking opportunities to learn, contribute, and lead alongside organizations already creating meaningful change.
06 / Let’s Connect
I welcome conversations about employment, nonprofit and community opportunities, partnerships, speaking, collaborations, community projects, and mentorship.
